Château de Nalys
An elegant nose with white flowers and slighty toasty notes. The white Grand Vin of Château de Nalys is beautifully balanced with a very complex palate.
This wine is made from an equal blend of grapes from the three Nalys plots, “la Crau”, “le Bois Sénéchal” and “Nalys”, with the blend dominated by Rousanne, supported by Grenache and Clairette, and underlined by the freshness from Bourboulenc and Piquepoul. Two-thirds of the wine is aged in oak, bringing a density and complexity to the wine. An elegant nose of white flowers, lightly toasted notes, and a very fine balance together with a long finish define this white Grand Vin from Chateau de Nalys. In two words: Nobility and Complexity.
This wine is produced from three exceptional terroirs : « Nalys » (36%) with red sandstone typical of the Comtat and Saffres, « Bois Sénéchal » (37%) and « La Crau » (27%), both constituted of ancient alluvial stones from the Rhone, the famous galets.
