Terroirs of Nalys, Focus on Sénéchal Wood
The “Bois Sénéchal”, a cadastral area called “Bois Sénéseau”, covers an area of nearly 20 hectares. Neighboring the prestigious islet of the Crau and worked mainly by the Château de Nalys, this terroir is composed of old stony alluvial soils of the Rhone which rest on a bed of clay. The famous pebbles of Châteauneuf-du-Pape have their feet here cool! This parcel, where Mourvèdre likes to flourish, produces wines with rounded and powerful tannins, a unique and generous signature.
Starting April 1st, the Caveau will be open from Monday to Friday from 9h to 18h and Saturday from 10h to 12h30 and from 13h30 to 18h
