This wine is produced mainly from the terroirs of “La Crau” and “Piedlong”. The blend is mainly Grenache with a large proportion of Syrah and smaller amounts of Mourv\u00e8dre, Counoise and Vaccar\u00e8se. The red wine of Ch\u00e2teau de Nalys is intense with a deep colour. Two thirds of the wine is aged for 24 months in foudres and one third in oak barrels. Ruby red in colour, it is dark and deep with aromas of black fruit and spice. On the palate the wine is powerful and persistent with silky tannins.
