Self-Guided Tour

During cellar opening times.

Self-guided tour : Upon arrival at the Château de Nalys you will be given a booklet to guide you on your tour. It highlights the key moments in the Château’s history from the 16th century to the current day. The guide will also direct you through the vineyards surrounding the château with a tour of the 13 emblematic grape varietals of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.  There are explanatory signs posted along the way too. You can also take in the stunning views of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.

Afterwards, take a tour of our little museum with its collection of antique winemaking equipment – there is a capper, press and a still. The booklet will then guide you to the 18th century cellar where our wines are aged for several months in a collection of different sized barrels (foudres, demi-muids and barriques).

Your visit will be rounded-up with a guided tasting of red and white wines from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
